Dinner Out at the Bye & Bye
Half a meatball sub, half a bahn mi thing, and some brussel sprouts: awesome.
Oh, and a pint of Green Flash IPA: bitter, pine scented, and balanced.
I ordered the Green Flash because it thought it was a thing. I always order beers that I think are popular or whatever.

Happy Hour at M Bar
I drank some Oakshire Ill Tempered Gnome, and it’s all malty and red. It’s a winter warmer with a low alcohol but a bold taste. The gnome is not as sweet as the other winter ales I’ve tried, but it is pretty tasty.
I followed that up with Breakside Brewing’s IPA which is super grapefruity but backed up with a hefty bitterness. The citrus flavor is nice but maybe a little...

Holiday Ale Festival
None of these beers really merited a full pint, but they were interesting but not always in a good way.
Burnside Brewery Barrel Aged Permafrost: Smells like candy. Tasted like an aged Ninkasi IPA. Sweet and hoppy.
Upright Brewing, Provision: Smells like a sour beer, tastes like a sour beer, sort of like a beer/wine hybrid.
