RPM IPA Revisited
RPM IPA from Boneyard is the beer got me back into IPAs but this pint isn’t as good as I remember. I guess our memories never match reality, but this seems weaker than I remember, less aroma, less citrus. It could be an old keg, but I still prefer it to other IPAs I drank recently. RPM is super piney with a hint of grapefruit.

Back at the Bye & Bye
Tonight, I took my brother out for birthday beers a month after the fact. I tried to explain to him the delicious possibilities in malts and hops and yeasts and water. I had a little glass of Mikkeller Beer Geek Stout and Nate had a Franziskaner Hefeweizen. The Mikkeller was super chocolaty, and the Franziskaner was super banana-y, and both were delicious. Happy Hour at M Bar
Amnesia ESB More bitter than the British version. It’s Still dry but not sweet. This ESB is more like a pale ale.

Beers that make me go hmmm?
21st Amendment’s Bitter American is bitter, but it is not an IPA. It bites your tongue and tickles with bubbles and a dry, bitter finish. The dryness reminds me of a lager, but far more bitter.
