Tonight I drank a big pint of Laurelwood Hooligan brown ale. This is like a brown pale ale, not a nutty brown. It sucks that we only have colors to describe beers some times. I think Hooligan is supposed to be an English style bitter. It definitely tastes more English than German. It tastes like a mix of a pale ale and a brown ale because it’s bitter and it’s little bit toasty and a little bit nutty.
