High-res July is Oregon Craft Beer Month — not to be confused with Portland Beer Week. The Oregon Brewers Festival is held every July — not to be confused with the Portland International Beer Festival or the North American Organic Brewers Festival. I decided I am going to drink only Oregon beers for the rest of the month, starting at home. This is the beer I brewed last month at my brother-in-law’s. It came out flat — probably my fault, I stored it in the fridge for a week and a half— but it has some good dunkelweizen like notes. But there is a weird metallic tinge. I like the way the roasted grains came out. Maybe Paul has a nicely carbonated bottle.
